At the very track where Schumacher had his debut race (the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix), Schuberth Helmets created a special commemorative lid in 2011 to mark 20 golden years of F1 career, hand-made with a genuine gold leaf base. That particular race at Spa Francorchamps is considered a particularly legendary race for legendary German champion Michael Schumacher. During that race, he drove his Mercedes MGP W02 from 24th place to fifth place. He even overtook his teammate Nico Rosberg. In 44 race laps, Schumacher was able to improve by a total of 19 positions. This was a new record at Spa.
